Trinity GPs is a MIXED BILLING practice when you consult with one of our General Practitioners.

Monday to Friday

Procedural Fees
Examples:
- Cryotherapy
- Implanon insertion/removal
- Skin lesion biopsies
- Fracture back slab
- Wound dressing
- Toe nail removal
Making Payments
Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card
Financial Hardship
Patients experiencing financial hardship should discuss with their doctor or practitioner at the time of consultation. Fee waiver is at the discretion of the treating practitioner.
Patients eligible for Bulk-Billing – who hold a current Medicare card.
- Children < 16 years of age
- Pensioners concession card holders ( must produce valid , current card on arrival)
- Commonwealth seniors health care card ( must produce valid , current card on arrival)
- Health care card ( must produce valid , current card on arrival)
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients who partner with us in their Health Care through Closing the Gap
- GP generated recalls
- Care Plans and reviews
- Health Assessments
- DVA Gold Card Holders
The following consultations will be billed privately and may not attract a rebate from Medicare, these must be paid for on the day before leaving:
- Workers compensation, MVA and related consultations (are the patient’s responsibility and must be paid by the patient)
- Pre-employment medical assessment and related investigations
- Drivers Licence Medical (private and commercial)
- Fitness for Duty Assessment
- Functional Assessments
Allied Health and Specialist Appointments
These services may incur a fee. Please check with your practitioner or reception.
Failure to Attend Policy
A $40 fee will incur if;
- You fail to attend an appointment
- You do not give us 2 hours’ notice when cancelling/rescheduling an appointment
Recall/Reminder system
You will be automatically enrolled in our Recall/Reminder system to inform you of recurring healthcare issues such as annual check-ups, care planning and immunisations. Please advise the receptionist if you if you do not wish to participate. Patients will be contacted for recalls when clinically indicated and necessary.
Test results, referrals, and scripts
We have a policy that requires you to make an appointment to discuss test results. GP generated recalls for results will be bulk-billed. Referrals and repeat scripts will be issued during your consultation.
